Chow Lee’s energy on his “Sue Lee” deluxe project is utterly infectious. I’m currently writing this article in a packed library and I keep getting dirty looks from the people at my table because I keep trying to discretely woo walk or shake that shii. This contagious vibe is due to Lee’s blend of the sample-heavy drill sound that has dominated New York and creative flows that catch the listeners attention.

Songs like “WIG” and “I’m On Body” see Lee letting the sample do some of the work on the hook while adding humorous lyrics about snatching wigs. However, even with funny lines here and there, Lee’s cadences and word play are on full display and cement him as an artist who can blend fun and serious talent.
