The China Blue Strikes Again With “Nervous”

Massachusetts born Seth Mykel Marques composes, performs and produces The China Blue. In January 2020 he released his debut EP ‘Written In My Head, From My Bedroom’ for streaming, praised by The Sound Of Boston as “a consistent thread of electronic sound effects, heartbreak themes, and catchy melodies that are angsty yet upbeat”. His new Single “Nervous” which has released on April 12th, 2021 was written after he had just gotten out of a long-term relationship. The song is centered around the reaction of his ex-girlfriend knowing it is about to end from the look on his face. The experiences he faced over the last few months have brought him back to his routes of synth-pop. A sound that blends synth ballads from the 80s with modern production elements.
