R&B star Reina shares new single ‘at midnight’

Reina, an independent R&B singer based in Los Angeles, has just released a new single called "At Midnight." It’s a passionate and memorable tune about a girl who is all about her company and works hard, but still makes time for love — on her own terms, of course.

Reina stated, “I immediately envisioned the vibe I wanted for this and it was inspired by the idea of a hard working woman who was in love, but had the power and discipline to be about her business and not get distracted.”

The single takes audiences on a journey of love and emotions from the perspective of a hard-working woman dedicated to pursuing her dreams.

Reina began her music career at age 15, where her father would help her record and songwrite.

“I had grown up knowing I would become a singer and I was told that there were no limitations to my dreams and goals, Reina said. “Knowing that my future was dependent on my proactiveness I decided to take advantage of my resources and my father had me recording in the studio at 15.”

Reina has demonstrated an extraordinary work ethic since she began singing in nightclubs at the age of seventeen, exhibiting how her passion for music is unparalleled and her desire to establish herself has shone. Since then, she's been hustling. Her grandpa Verdine White is a member of the renowned ensemble Earth, Wind & Fire, thus she hails from a musical background. Reina is someone to keep an eye on as she progresses in the profession, with music flowing in her family and an evident gift for singing.

Reina recently stated in an interview that one of her proudest moments was being able to work and collaborate with some of the greatest musicians of all time.

“One of the proudest moments of my career so far was being awarded a Hollywood Music and Media Award for Best Message Song/Social Impact for my single, “Head to The Sky” ft. Nipsey Hussle, Myself, and Verdine White produced by MyGuyMars and Brody Brown,” she said. “This song was very special to me.”

Now, Reina is continuing the momentum with songs like "At Midnight," which highlights her poetry and storytelling skills in a sensitive way. The vocalist explains that because she is a boss lady who works hard, she needs to put her relationship on hold, which her guy must be cool with because she is and will always be about her business.
