Kg Prince’s Electrifying EP, “The Living Reciever*”
Kg Prince recently released his EP, “The Living Reciever*,” and it is doing big things. His previous release was “Look Me in The Eyes,” which got a repost from Dom Corleo, one of the most relevant underground artists. That song has over 10,000 plays on SoundCloud, and his newest EP is on track to do just as great.
Since he was coming off such a great song, listeners and fans had high hopes for Kg Prince’s latest EP. Those high hopes were rewarded with a beautiful four-song project. He opens the EP up with a slow buildup into a glo-gang-styled beat on “Never Truzt a Soul.” He has made it known that he can body this kind of production with “could never Z me lol,” his best performing song recently. He builds on that talent by adding in that buildup. By doing so, he generates even more hype than the music deserves. He continues this hype for the rest of the EP but takes a calmer approach with the two middle tracks.
Kg Prince is also expanding his sample game. On top of being an insanely good song, “Time Goes by Fast” samples Hell Boy by the Lil Peep. Back when Lil Peep was in his prime, Kg Prince was putting out great music at that time, and now he’s reinterpreting that same music into his own. In this song, he’s pleading with this significant other to stick around, but as he does so, he realizes they don’t see him for him. This dialogue exemplifies that right now, people underestimate him.
He’s sure to create a buzz with “The Living Reciever*” so tap in with Kg Prince on Instagram here. Then, listen to “The Living Reciever*” here or above!
