Derek Minor drops High-octane new track “Pull Up”

Thanks artists like JAY-Z, Master P, Kanye West and others, rappers can now become more than just rhyme spitters and Derek Minor is a perfect example of that.

His new track “Pull Up”, accompanied by Greg James and producer Thicc James is boisterous and loaded with adrenaline. However, more impressive than this track is Minor’s ability to use rap as a way to expand his horizons in the music industry.

Last month, Minor announced via Instagram that he’d been elected as the Governor of the Nashville’s chapter of the Record ing Academy. In his statement, he explained:

“It's an honor to join a community that fights for creators' rights, advocates to keep music in our schools, and helps the music community in times of need.”

On top of that, Derek is the co-founder of the label Reflection Music Group and its marketing subsidiary RMG Amplify. His ability to use his platform as an artist to give others opportunities is truly remarkable and paves the way for future artists who want to become entrepenurers.
