Buppy. & Eleanor KIngston Release ‘To My Momma’
Buppy and Eleanor Kingston are a powerful sibling duo worth checking out. Buppy and his older sister, Eleanor Kingston, compose poetically captivating music, drawing from their diverse influences and distinct individual styles. With their debut collaboration highlighting the respect for their single mom, & all parental figures who work selflessly for their kids to have a better life. A raw entry into the turmoils of their childhood home, the song highlights their mom’s determination to see her kids have a better life. The song often repeats the sentiment that “times are changing” and that brighter days are on the horizon for their family, due to the love and belief in each other. First written as a mother’s day gift, the song soon evolved into a masterpiece and getting placed on all digital streaming platforms.
17-year-old Buppy empowers fellow teenagers to rise above abuse, emotional trauma and toxic relationships through his refreshing blend of Alternative R&B, Indie-Pop, and Hip-Hop. Eleanor Kingston’s music is a mindful blend of Alternative/Electropop’s complexities and Indie-Pop’s lyrical universe, confronts the inner-battles of loneliness and anxiety while also spotlighting the importance of self-trust and personal empowerment.
The production, recording, and mixing process of the record was done entirely a close friend of theirs and frequent producer BOIA (Cole Boillat). Heavily inspired by late Mac Miller work, the track fluctuates between indie pop production & cleverly delivered vocals, riddled with elaborate rhyme schemes. While the percussion remains simple allowing it to exist in the ‘mainstream’ pocket, the instrument use becomes increasingly elaborate during the course of the track.
