Brickbanshrty Gains a New Flow on “666’”
Brickbanshrty is an artist from Atlanta, GA, with a sound like no other. He sticks with very little autotune on his raspy voice and the most exciting plugg beats you will hear. In the past couple of months, he’s been on quite the run. In five months, he’s dropped six songs that have all reached over 6,000 plays on SoundCloud and over 75,000 plays total. This is quite a notable feat considering the type of music he makes. One of the more popular of the six songs is “666’.”
If you’re familiar with Brick’s work, you’ll understand that “666’” is another example of the delightful dynamic duo that Brick and the producer Vilencia are. In this song, Brick talks about his struggles with expression outside music. He says that he feels like he’s talking without a mouth, meaning that he feels like he can’t speak about what’s on his mind. So, he takes to the mic to get all the thoughts off his mind and simultaneously creates a tremendous track.
Above is one of the more exciting songs in the underground. Many artists have hopped on the Satanic-Esque wave, but Brick takes the torch and sprints with it. At the same time, he’s developing his type of aesthetic. In his last six drops, his cover art has featured an oil painting character in various situations. Brick is beginning to step into this wave so that if people see a cover like this, they will associate it with him and his sound.
